Everything Heartsome does is a kind of looking after. A few of its senses:

Reviews, surveys and a pulse you can read, before people leave.
Post the role, follow everyone through one calm pipeline, and treat each applicant like a person rather than a number in a funnel. Hiring, without the chaos and without the cruelty.
And those are just a few. Heartsome does dozens more. See everything →
“We looked at a lot of HR tools before landing on Heartsome. The others were either overbuilt or underwhelming. Heartsome hits the right spot for a company at our stage. What made the difference was how they handled our feedback: directly, quickly, without us having to push. That made onboarding feel like a collaboration rather than a hand-off.”
“This just goes to show, when you truly love what you’re doing, you can’t possibly go wrong. Heartsome is a small team and is more impressive than a few other HR tools at a much bigger scale.”
“What helps most is the overview. With Heartsome, you simply have just one system where you can do everything. That is really great.”
Our entire price, with nothing underneath it.

Old English heorte, “heart”, and -sum, a quality you carry in you. The word fell out of use around the time HR became a department and people became “resources”.
We brought it back because we built the thing it describes.
Before this we spent more than a decade building hiring software. Heartsome is where that experience goes next, built for smaller companies and the whole job, not just the hiring.
We’re a small team, self-funded, with no investors and no board and no one in the building who wants growth at any cost. It is the reason the price is fair, the reason nothing hides behind a tier, and the reason we can give it away free to non-profits doing work that matters more than our revenue.
people as resources · surprise fees · upgrade-to-unlock · enshittification · growth at all costs
We built Heartsome to be the opposite of this list, and we mean to keep it that way.
